FAQs

What Iis the starting price of installing a gas geyser?

Our gas geyser installations start from R11 500. This does not include the gas geyser.

Your package covers the 48 kg LPG cylinder, emergency shut-off valve, 5 m gas-rated pipe, pressure regulator and your Certificate of Compliance (COC). The geyser unit itself is quoted separately based on your preferred brand and size.

No—the R11 500 price is for our installation package only. We’ll recommend the right Rinnai, Paloma, Atlas or Dewhot unit for your needs and quote that separately, so you pay only for exactly what you need.

We install exclusively top-tier, factory-tested brands: Rinnai, Paloma, Atlas and Dewhot. That means fewer breakdowns, better efficiency and a lifetime of reliable performance.

Yes—because it runs on LPG, not electricity, you get reliable, on-demand hot water even when Eskom cuts power.

We stand by our workmanship with a 1-year guarantee (T&Cs apply) and offer free site visits to ensure your system keeps running perfectly.

  • Reliability During Load-shedding:

    • Gas: Runs independently of the grid—hot water even when Eskom cuts power.

    • Electric: Cold showers whenever the power goes out.

  • Running Costs & Efficiency:

    • Gas: Heats on demand with virtually zero standby losses—can cut your water-heating bill by up to 50%.

    • Electric: Reheats the entire tank continuously, incurring high standby losses and expensive tariffs.

  • Continuous Hot Water:

    • Gas: Delivers endless hot water for simultaneous showers, dish-washing and laundry.

    • Electric: Only holds a fixed volume—once it’s empty, you wait for it to reheat.

  • Environmental Impact:

    • Gas: Burns LPG or natural gas more cleanly than coal-generated electricity, reducing CO₂ emissions.

    • Electric: Relies on South Africa’s coal-heavy grid, which has a higher carbon footprint.

  • Footprint & Installation:

    • Gas: Compact, wall-mounted units with minimal roof space required.

    • Electric: Bulkier tanks take up more space and need sturdy support.
